Amy Habeck completed her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, a dietetic internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, and a Masters degree in human nutrition at Eastern Michigan University. She completed the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics level 1 and level 2 Certificates of Training in Adult Weight Management in 2011 and 2015, respectively. As a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for more than 25 years, her past experience includes diabetes management, care of patients with renal failure, nutrition support of bone marrow transplant patients, pharmaceutical sales and online university instruction. Amy is active in the Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is striving to achieve fluency in Spanish through practice with her clients and individual instruction. She has enjoyed working with patients at Advanced Surgeons since 2014.
