A Few Tips to Improve the Texture and or Flavor of Your Protein Shake Meal Replacement:
- Most common problem- “My shake is too frothy”
Instead of blending on high speed, try blending on a lower speed and use the pulse button
- “My shake is too thin”
Add a few ice cubes to provide more consistency to your shake
- “My shake is too thick”
Add more liquid (milk and or water)
- “The protein powder does not dissolve thoroughly”
Try blending the milk and or water with the ice first and then slowly add the protein powder
“My shake is not sweet enough”
Add a calorie free sugar substitute of your choice e.g. Stevia or Truvia
Try adding flavor extracts like 1/4 teaspoon vanilla or almond flavor
** You can refrigerate your protein shake and or freeze them, but remember not to heat them up…. Heat will cause the protein to break down.

Banana Protein Nog
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
1 cup (8oz) 1% milk
1/2 banana
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Delicious and quick! (Can add ice prior to blending)
Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake
1 cup (8oz) 1% milk
1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder
1 teaspoon PB2 powder ( can get at your local health food store or online at various sites)
2-4 ice cubes
Blend Thoroughly to desired consistency and enjoy!
Mango Madness Protein Smoothie
4 oz. water
4 oz light or regular vanilla soy milk
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (1 scoop of protein powder should have 25grams or Protein or more and b/w 0-5 grams of Total Carbohydrate)
½ cup fresh or frozen mango chunks
2-3 ice cubes
Place the liquids in the blender first, then the powder, then add the rest of the ingredients. Blend on low, then high until well blended and Enjoy!!!!!!

6oz Crystal Light Peach Tea
2 Tablespoons Sugar Free Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
Stevia/Truvia or other non calorie sweetener as needed
Ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender to desired consistency and you have yourself a decadent milkshake as a meal! You can even try freezing your protein shake!
