(220 – your age) x 0.6 = 60% maximum heart rate

(220 – your age) x 0.8 = 80% maximum heart rate

 

ex. 59 year old male

220 – 59 =161

161 x 0.6 = 97

161 x 0.8 = 129

Therefore, this mans heart rate should be between 97-129 beats per minute to be in his target heart rate zone!! Lets get weight loss results!!
